Are you often critical of yourself? Are your negative thoughts crushing your confidence?
Many people suffer from constant negative thoughts and if you relate to this then you are not alone. However, I’d like you to imagine saying your negative thoughts out loud aimed at a friend. Would that be horrendous? I often ask my clients to do this and they look at me in horror. One client said: “I wouldn’t have any friends left if I did that!”
So what’s the reason that people say cruel and nasty negative thoughts to themselves? It’s based on misunderstanding of thought and how thoughts work. This can often start at an early age, forming habitual behaviour later in life. Unfortunately, many people have found that the more they try not to have negative thoughts, the more they have them.
Had enough of your negative thoughts and self-critical mind-set?
So many of us misunderstand how our minds work - I know that I did!
Many clients I work with have successfully and sustainably changed their way of thinking just by understanding the nature of thought and words such as "liberating" "enlightening" and "rediscovery" are the natural result from this understanding.
"You have enlightened me on such a clear way of thinking, that is yet so simple but I never had thought of before."
