Overcome nerves…Breathe!

Welcome to Lindsey’s Light Bulb Moments

When we feel nervous or anxious, our fight or flight part of our brain kicks in and oxygen rushes to our big muscles with less oxygen in our brains. That’s fine in the past when we were hunting for food and either need to fight for the food or flight so we didn’t end up being the food! Not so helpful when we want to quickly overcome our nerves – at Interviews, Networking, giving a Speech….Watch this week’s short video [4:39 mins] to learn how to effectively breathe! If you cannot breathe as per my demo, let me know and I will send you an exercise to do or if you want to learn more about breathing effectively and talking loud and clear, I can recommend Vocal Coach Priscilla Morris’s Loud and Clear Workshop - next one on 6th December in Leicester

Yes – you are right, I don’t use Facebook much – I do use Linkedin and Twitter – however Facebook would be a great way of sharing my thoughts. Many thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it.
      With best regards
