If you think about it – there really is no such thing as “a bad day”. It’s all in our minds. It’s us that make it “bad”. It’s our perception and our interpretation. Even when we know this – that the “bad day” is all in our heads, sometimes it can be difficult to change…

Change the Bad Day to a Beautiful Day

Here are a few tips to aid you to turn that bad day to a beautiful day

  • Remember that you have a choice – do you want to continue being miserable or do you want to cheer up….your choice.
  • Write down succintly what is going wrong and what action you can do to change this – and then get on and act!
  • Change your environment – go for a walk; listen to some great music, watch a funny you-tube clip. If you’re at work – change the height of your chair – really high or low – that will give you a different outlook!
  • Put your hand over your heart and feel that beat – remember that you are alive – and alive for a purpose.
  • Imagine it’s 5 days from now – will the bad day be significant or not? What about 5 weeks / 5 months / 5 years? Put the day into perspective.
  • Make it a bad moment rather than a bad day.
  • Think of 10 things that you are grateful for and enjoy thinking about them.
